10 Apr CASEY NEISTAT IN MONTREAL!
I made it to Casey Neistat’s vlog and I feel that it won’t be the last! Last weekend, I was at Influence Gen, an event that I was part of the organization but also a keynote speaker for! In this blog post, I will share with you my experience!
FEAR
This was the name of the keynote I had with Thierry. We’ve been working on this talk for a couple of weeks but really put the work the day before the event. What is FEAR? Basically, we thought that it would be a cool idea to use the same concept that I did for my keynote on FEEL (you can read more about it here). FEAR stands for FEELING, ENERGY, AUDACITY & RELATIONSHIPS. We talked about the importance of overcoming your fear if you want to succeed and we decided to deconstruct the word to give you key points. This keynote was a pilot talk for a new concept Thierry wants to implant called the 10/10/10. What is it? It is a keynote where the speakers talk about a subject for 10 minutes alongside someone from a younger generation, then that someone asks the speaker 10 rapid questions to finish with 10 minutes of Q&A! The keynote went super well, I didn’t even feel nervous in front of the 350+ guests! I can’t wait to share with you all the video when it will be ready!!

The Marketing Squad
As part of Influence Media, my key mandate was to cover the event the best way possible. In my team, I had 4 students from Enactus, 1 volunteer and one of our Intern. It might sound like a big team but believe me, it wasn’t enough. I wanted to have stories on Instagram during the whole event, a Facebook & Instagram live during the keynotes, an incredible presence on Twitter and great engagement online from the guests! #InfluenceToronto trended on Twitter last November during the event so it was only right for me to be sure that we trended on Twitter as well! We did it! ( S/O to Tasha, she was the MVP in my team during the day of the event!) We got over 250 followers that day, over 60K impressions on our Instagram only and over 100 mentions! (complete Case Study to come next week!) I am happy with the results of the Marketing Squad (even tho one volunteers decided to leave us after 30 minutes)!! The Overall Event InfluenceGen ran very smoothly and that’s because the team was super organized and motivated. Major S/O to Thierry, Cyusa, Cleo, Christelle, Guy, Emmanuel and the whole Enactus Crew. I’ve been to all the Influence Event & this was probably the one that ran the smoothest.

The AfterParty!
After the event, I went to the 5@7 at Kemestre. This new restaurant in Montreal offers amazing drinks and great sliders that are very affordable such as 2 burgers for 5$! Then we went to LaVoute! One of the nicest club in Montreal! It was a hell of a night!!
More pictures to come!
