23 Apr Uber Celebrates 1 Year in Montréal
One year ago, Uber launched their food delivery service in Montreal. With over 100 restaurants signed up on their system at the time, they kept on growing and adding more restaurants to their list. Currently, at a 1000 restaurants, UberEATS celebrated their 1 year anniversary at Xavier Artisan.
What is Uber EATS?
If you are not familiar with Uber Eats, it is a food delivery app that you can order basically what you want from the comfort of your home or the office. Your food is delivered by an Uber driver or a bike courier. You usually get your meal within 35 minutes which is pretty fast! (Benefit from a 1$ delivery fee instead of 4,99$ until April 25th!)
Notable restaurants that are available for delivery on the app are Mcdonalds, Boustan, Bell Pros and more!
To celebrate their one year anniversary, Uber EATS partnered up with Zone Franche and the restaurants Xavier Artisan to make one of the coolest events I’ve ever been. During the event, the guests had to make their own sandwich with no more than 5 ingredients and the winner would have their sandwich added to Xavier Artisan’s menu! Congrats to Camille and Nastassia from Foodies Parc on making the best sandwich! ( There sandwich was called Le Sous-Estimé, it is on a baguette bread, brie cheese, bacon, avocado, and pistachios.)
Uber Eats have food options that will please everyone! Italian restaurants, brunch, Haitian, healthy and more. An interesting study was made by Uber Eats and that shares the favorite meals by neighborhoods! Head over Quebec Huffington Post to read more.
During the event, there was a photo booth from MirMir and decided to share some of my favorite pictures ❤️!
