29 May 5 Brunch Spots That You Must Try This Summer
Since I’ve been showing publicly my involvement with Le Brunch Squad, my friends say that I am a reference when it comes to brunch. Well, to the public demand, here’s 5 restaurants that you should go brunch this summer.

Duc De Lorraine – 5002 Cote Des Neiges
Located in the heart of Cote Des Neiges, Duc De Lorraine is now one of my favorite restaurant in Montreal. I went there three weeks ago for my first time and I’ve gone back 3 times already! Why? Because the food and the service are top notch. Their brunch menu is complete with choices from the classic eggs Benedictine to the tastiest burger. It is not for nothing that this pastry shop has a rating of 4.1 stars on Google with over 475 ratings. During my initial visit with Katrina, we had the chance to eat their cream of mushroom, le Burger Du Duc, their eggs benedictine and they surprised us at the end with their renowned Mille Feuilles that won many titles. Now that summer is here, I suggest that you go to Duc de Lorraine because they will have two beautiful terraces starting mid-June and it is located next to the Oratory, a Montreal’s landmark.
L’Entre-Pots – 1995 Rue Masson
L’Entre-Pots has a special place in my heart because not only does this restaurant have Haitian cuisine inspired dish, but it is also where we hosted our first Brunch Squad Meetup. For me, l’Entre-Pots is a hidden gem near Laurier Metro. The plates are huge and this place is usually packed. It is not your traditional breakfast, they have a delicious homemade Pain Naan and they were able to replicate the well known Haitian Spicy Sauce: Pikliz. The owner is nice and the staff is friendly and professional. Their avocado toast is HUGE (I am pretty sure that it has a whole avocado in it!) I’ve been to this restaurant twice and I highly suggest it to you. If you want to see more about them, head over their Instagram page.. it will make you hungry.
Foeigwa – 3001 Notre Dame O
What do you know about Ricotta Blueberry Pancakes and omelette with duck, cheese and spinach? Foiegwa has definitely made a name for itself in the past year. This french diner located in St-Henri offers brunch from Friday to Sunday until 3PM (on Fridays) and 3:30 PM (on Saturdays and Sundays). You may have seen their plates on your Instagram feed since the aesthetics and their food looks #GOALS! The love they put in their food makes it one of the ultimate spot to visit this summer. I’ve only been once but I plan to go more often and take a nice picture like the one below!
WELL – 4567 Wellington
Well.. if you don’t know that place, you’re missing out! (ok, this was not my best). This restaurant is located in the heart of Verdun and I went for my first time last week! I went there with my friend Jessica and Montreal’s well-known photographer PaperPlex! First of all, this brunch spot offers a variety of delicious plates such as the fruits pancakes and ricotta and bacon pancakes. EVERYTHING IS HOMEMADE: Their bread, their mayo, and their mimosas. (I just wanted to drop the fact that they offer mimosas). When I went, I took their scrambled eggs with their mixed herbs and it was delicious. The eggs were fluffy and tasted as good as Gordon Ramsey ‘s eggs that I tried when I was in the UK! I am not familiar with Verdun area but if you plan to go, Restaurant Well is worth a visit!
Fabergé – 25 Fairmount O
I went with to Faberge with Katrina and Kayla a couple months ago and plan to go back very soon. Located in the Mile End, Faberge is your destination for comfort food. I don’t know any other places in Montreal that offer Eggs benny over BBQ Pork and deep fried Mac & Cheese. They also have a delicious chicken and waffle that can compete with Bird Bar, a restaurant that is part of my Top 5 in Montreal. Another reason why you should go: They now have foster! Bananas Foster is a dessert made from bananas and vanilla ice cream, with a sauce made from … in other words, this is heaven.
