03 Sep Le Burger Week Has Officially Started in Montreal

Yesterday was the first day of Le Burger Week. This annual event has been operating since 2012, and little did I know, it started in Montreal. During a week, restaurants offer a special burger for you to try and vote for the best burger!

Here are some burgers that caught my attention (all photos were taken from Le Burger Week Website):

The Myster Mystery Burger from Monsieur Resto+Bar

This burger looks simply fantastic with infused organic jalapeno into the patty. In addition, when looking at the picture you have to admit that this look tasty. I have to admit, I am a big fan of Kim Lallouz cuisine and that is one of her creation.

GIANT ORGANIC BEEF CHEESEBURGER : Organic jalapeño infused beef patty, panko fried green tomato & cheese, fresh tomato, arugula & spicy mayo served with fries and green salad.

The Belly Burger from Hambar 

Brioche bun? Pork Belly? Hambar is not joking around with this burger!

Brioche bun, smoked habanero mayo, beef patty, caramelized onions, pickles, pork belly, Île-aux-Grues old cheddar topped with Shishito pepper & Pork Belly.

Brunch Burger from Capsa 

They had me at brunch. 

Brioche bread, sunny side egg, BLT, homemade hash brown, old cheddar special sauce.

Le Hot Chick from Le Bird Bar

I am a big fan of Le Bird Bar so of course, their burger is on my list.

Texan hot fried chicken sandwich, Saputo mozzarella, red cabbage slaw, fried onions, house-made pickles, lettuce on a house-baked bun served with fries & Texan sauce mayo dip.

The BR Black Bun Burger aka the ‘’BBB’’ from Baton Rouge Steakhouse & Bar

This burger is delicious and worthy, I tried it last week and the halloumi cheese with the pink marinated onions makes it flavorsome. 

Try our Black Bun Burger. With its intriguing black bun bread, halloumi cheese, 7 oz. beef patty, pink marinated onions, watermelon radishes, watercress and aioli – it’s not only a colorful burger it is also full of flavour! That’s our inner fire.

The GameChanger from Notre Boeuf de Grâce

Known for their burgers, I am a big fan of this local joint. It is quite obvious that their burger is a must-try this week!

6oz freshly ground beef patty, Honey Mustard BBQ sauce, BBQ Glazed Bacon, Grilled Halloumi Cheese, Tabbouleh Coleslaw, pickles. Garnished with a Bacon wrapped Medjool Date stuffed with Goat Cheese.

Basterd Buffalo Burger from Basterd

It has fried chicken in it, made by one of my favorite chef in the city at one of my favorite joint in the city, of course this is a must try!

Fried chicken, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, sesame bun, cucumbers & green apples. (Vegetarian substitution possible)

The Village Burger from Table 51 

Yummy, I probably kept the best for last in this one, I mean, look at it!

Grilled Flat Bread, ground lamb patty,roasted red pepper and feta cheese spread, home fries, Manchego cheese, shredded lettuce, tomato, red onion, jalapeno poppers stuffed with red pepper and feta cheese spread.
