14 Aug Malala Yousafzai is coming to Montreal !

It is official, Malala is coming to Montreal on September 26th for InfluenceMTL. This young Nobel laureate is not only inspiring but she’s a symbol of hope for women and education around the world. It is an honor to be part of Influence Orbis, the modern media company that will be producing this event. It is crazy how time flies, a year ago, I was doing one of my first vlog (my 5th to be exact) at that event that you can see HERE. Today, I will be leading the marketing team to cover this event.

Who is Malala Yousafzai?

Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani Activist that won the Nobel Peace Prize. At the age of 15, on October 9th 2012,  she survived an assassination attempt by a Taliban. Following the attack, Malala was flown to Birmingham to receive treatment. By March 2013 she had made a remarkable recovery and was well enough to return to school. In 2013, she released I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban an autobiography that became an international bestseller. Malala was also named one of ‘The 100 Most Influential People in the World’ in 2013 by TIME magazine. Having Malala in Montreal will be amazing and a historical moment.

InfluenceMTL 2018

I am looking forward to this event because I personally believe this will be the biggest conference that will happen in Montreal. Do not get me wrong, C2, Startup Fest, and ExpoEntrepreneurs are all amazing conferences but this one will be OUT OF THIS WORLD. We are currently expecting over 2500 guests and the format of InfluenceMTL will be like last year. Coming to this conference, you can expect to get inspired, informed and get influenced.
