07 Aug Now That’s What I’m Talking About: Buick Enclave Avenir 2018

For this past week, I had the chance to drive around town with the Buick Enclave Avenir 2018. This Buick has caused a big stir on my social media when I asked my friends what car it was. I received over 25 answers and people couldn’t guess what it was. People would name Infinity, Lexus, Alfa Romeo and more. One thing for sure, the Enclave didn’t look cheap and it was something that most people are not used to see.

Buick is presently at their second generation of the Buick Enclave and it is safe to say that they hit a home-run with this one! The Avenir line is the luxury model has a lot to offer and there are quite many obvious reasons why this car is a must have and below, I want to share with you some of my favorites. Buick describes the Avenir as the “highest expression of Buick luxury, offering unique style cues.”

The Buick Enclave Avenir is Spacious

That is the first thing you notice when you get into the Buick Enclave 2018. The three rows of seats show that this crossover is made for family (and road trips). In addition, the second-row seats offer limo-like amounts of legroom which makes it quite pleasant to be seated in the back. Similar to the Chevrolet Traverse, that Richard and I had the chance to test out a year ago, the Enclave does offer 7 seats but it is optimized for 6.

It is the one the best car to help you move things around. When folding the second and third row, you now have about 98 cubic feet of space for your stuff! Richard and I were amazed when we put our 55” TV in the trunk with no problem!

Luxury and Style

The Buick Enclave Avenir has a wonderful Chestnut interior theme with Ebony accents. The combinations of leather chairs and wood accent gives it a rustique look and adds a touch of luxury. No worries about the having your phone or the passengers phone dying once you know that it has a wireless charging mat in the front and 6 USB input. Like all GM models, the Enclave comes standard with OnStar for emergency assistance and there’s built-in LTE and an in-car Wi-Fi network. Also, driving in style also means that you are well equipped audio wise and this car has 10 Bose Speakers! You definitely get your money worth once you realize that this car only starts at 64,000$!

Ease To Drive

This car wasn’t made to feel like you are driving your grandpa’s Buick. In fact, it has the option to go into All Wheel Drive or you can also go into Sports Mode. When driving it, you certainly feel like a boss and enjoy the smoothness that this 310 hp 3.6L V6 engine, with 9-speed automatic transmission has to offer. Other features such as the smart cruise control and the line assist makes you feel secure when driving it.

Words cannot express how impressed I was once I stepped into the Buick Enclave. I used to think that this brand was for an older crowd but after trying it out, it is safe to say that it speaks to me. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance to try out the ”myBuickTM mobile app”. I am looking forward to trying it next time since it shows you the key vehicle health information, where you parked, remote start your vehicle, monitor Wi-Fi, check data usage, send directions to your vehicle, get account details and more!
