July is coming to an end and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. For many, August is the last month of the summer and if you haven’t done anything crazy yet this summer, NOW IS THE TIME<\/strong>. August is a promising month in Montreal and I have 5 things that you should do.<\/p>\n

Pablo Picasso Exhibition – Mus\u00e9e des beaux-arts de Montr\u00e9al<\/a><\/h3>\n

The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) has two amazing exhibitions happening until September 16th: From Africa to the Americas: Face-to-Face Picasso, Past and Present and Here We Are Here: Black Canadian Contemporary Art. Prices are 25$ for adults (over 31 years old) and 15$ (for between 15-30 years old). Head over the link to see more about these exhibitions.<\/p>\n

Enjoy Montreal’s Pop Up Villages<\/h3>\n

Montreal’s currently has a couple of pop up villages around the city. These villages are special because they are all unique and a great place to discover local businesses and meet new people. Villages like Au Pied De Courant<\/a>, Aire Commune<\/a>, and\u00a0Station FMR<\/a> are a must\u00a0to go places to go during the month of August to enjoy your day and network!<\/p>\n

\u00cele Soniq<\/a> and Osheaga<\/a><\/h2>\n

This weekend coming up and the next one, it is about to go down at Parc Jean Drapeau. What I would consider the biggest festival of Montreal are about to happen and you don’t want to miss this. Big names are about to be in the city such as Travis Scott, Florence and the Machines, Post Malone for Osheaga and Laidback Luke, Joyride and Shaun Frank for Ile Soniq.<\/p>\n

Come To Our Brunch Squad Event!<\/h3>\n

If there\u2019s one thing you have to do in August, it is to come hang out with us. This summer my friend Katrina<\/a> and I decided that it was time for us to create offline experiences. We decided that the Intagram Page that I had created in the past \u00ab\u00a0mtlbreakfast\u00a0\u00bb becomes \u00ab\u00a0le Brunch Squad<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb! Our goal, to bring people together around a nice brunch. So far we\u2019ve done it at l\u2019entre-p\u00f4ts, Duc de Lorraine & Burrito Borracha this past weekend! Our next stop, Bird Bar!<\/p>\n
